TRAINING
What a Real Fight Camp Week Looks Like

Eight weeks out from a bout, training doesn't just get harder — it gets structured. Every session has a specific job to do, and nothing is left to improvisation.
Early weeks lean on Strength & Conditioning to build a work capacity base. By week four, Sparring Progressions take over as the centerpiece, building from technical rounds to full intensity. The final week is almost entirely about the Fight Week Taper — doing less, not more.
I've run this structure for four fight camps now, and the biggest lesson has been resisting the urge to add extra work when a fight gets close. The plan is the plan.
